The Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program offers incentives for households to upgrade to reverse cycle air conditioners that can heat and cool.

By replacing old heating and cooling systems with more energy-efficient ones or simply purchasing new energy efficient ones, you can significantly reduce the costs and energy use associated with heating and cooling.

The cost of heating and cooling your home can be a significant part of your energy bills. On average, Victorian households can spend up to $800 a year, or a third of their energy bill, on heating.

The sparky they sent was super friendly and efficient. Lovely dude. Even showed up exactly on time. (Which is rare with these things, as each tradie can be very overloaded with work). All the globes he replaced are working very well and I have no complaints. He even offered to pay for a light fitting that was already starting to break, and he thought he broke it.

I'm happy with the service and installation. There was a bit of confusion with the appointment time which was not the fault of the electrician. He agreed to return at the correct time but was held up elsewhere so admin called to let me know. I appreciate that because often you're left hanging without an update. When the electrician arrived (I think it was John) the work was carried out efficiently and quickly.

Rang 2 days later, left message asking them to call me back, still waiting for a call back, and I still have problems with my lamps. Not impressed and I don't recommend

Well they arrived, two of them & immediately went to work. They replaced all of my globes, explained why the new globes are better, and went on their way. They were friendly, professional & didn't miss a globe. And they left everywhere tidy & clean. They have a way of coming into your home, doing their job, & not intruding. Happy to recommend them. 🙂

My last couple of visits from the Energy Educators people have been outstanding in terms of professionalism, friendliness and kept promises. My first visit was to have my lights upgraded which was completed quickly and on time. The installer even cleaned the light covers for me without being asked! The next visit some months later was to have installed an electricity usage meter that shows me my power usage directly on my phone. ( both of these services were free by the way). Again, a friendly not pushy phone call asking if I’d be interested and because of the good service previously, of course I said yes. Again, on time, not pushy, quick clean and explained in layman’s terms. I can highly recommend Energy Educators as service focused and professional operators to any who choose to go with them.

The electrician was so nice and extra careful with my chandeliers. The whole service was on point! From the appointment setter to the schedule manager.       Here's what happens next:-

      * Discounts are based on the VEU program and standard metropolitan back-to-back installation. This includes a wall or floor bracket, 3m of piping, and 10m of cabling and conduit for a single-storey, tiled roof home. Additional costs will apply for double-storey and non-tiled roof households, as well as location-specific factors. All jobs are quoted and approved pre-installation. Both the customer and Energy Educators can cancel the works at any time, with a full refund provided within 10 business days.
      * This offer is provided as part of the Victorian Energy Upgrade (VEU) program. The Hot Water System offer is available to all VIC households. The offer can be used to install a Split System and/or Hot Water System under the scheme. A co-contribution is required for Gas Hot Water System replacements. Pre-order is required for some models, with delivery approximately 2 weeks after ordering. Customers must assign the rights to the Approved Partner to create energy savings certificates (VEEC/STCs) to receive the subsidised products. Additional costs may apply based on relocation distance and switchboard upgrades if necessary. These amounts will be quoted pre-installation.
